Our Italian school in the historic center of Verona

Our Italian school is located in the historic city center of Verona, just a few meters from the Arena. It offers the perfect setting to fully enjoy Verona’s elegant and welcoming atmosphere all while learning Italian.
The strategic position of the school, which is about 20 minutes on foot from the central station, allows students to quickly reach places of historical-cultural interest such as the Arena, Piazza Bra’, Juliet’s House and Castelvecchio and the most elegant shopping and aperitif streets of Verona, with plenty of typical restaurants and trattorias.
Teachers
The school of Italian language and culture InClasse was started by a group of teachers who, after having gained years of experience teaching Italian as a foreign language, decided to create a new reality which corresponded to their ideas of learning: to create a school with a family atmosphere in which students are involved from day one, without sacrificing the formal and grammatical teaching of the language.
For us at InClasse it’s vital that the teachers are always available and dynamic, both inside and outside the classroom: during excursions and dinners together. The expertise and experience of our Italian teachers are fundamental: all of them are native speakers, have graduated in humanities subjects, speak at least three languages and have a lot of experience teaching Italian both in Italy and abroad. Every one of our teachers is highly specialised in teaching Italian to all ages and levels: children, teenagers, adults and retirees, immigrants, university students, managers and professionals etc.
The teachers at InClasse are native speakers, passionate, and up to date with the latest teaching methodologies.
Teachers at InClasse are all native speakers and are all highly dedicated to their work and preparation: this is why they base their methods on modern teaching ideas and are always up to date with new theories.
Their communicative approach takes into account the needs (linguistic and communicative) and motivation of the students, considering also the requirements and rhythm of learning. That’s why the number of students per group is very small (maximum 8) and the progress of each student is checked regularly by end of level tests.
The teachers believe that the recreational aspect of the lessons is very important. Students can learn in a relaxed atmosphere without feeling “judged” and they become aware of their role in the learning process, via role plays, educational games and communicative activities which allow them to use the language in a natural way. The lessons are carried out in a fun and interactive style in which the students are stimulated to use the language and where grammar is applied in a functional and deductive way according to the area of linguistic study the teacher wishes to develop.
In the organisation of a teaching unit, the specially adapted materials for each course are used in conjunction with modern text books, aiming to consolidate the language acquired, to revise areas you might have forgotten and to enable rapid progress in learning. Given that the materials we use are all authentic and widely varied, the student is able to acquire a style of language that is not “text book” but instead the everyday language that they will meet on the street.
