What is CILS?
The certification of Italian as a foreign language is a qualification that demonstrates the level of competence of a student in Italian. The certification is officially recognised. The exam takes place twice a year (in June and December) in Verona, as well as in many other Italian cities and in some cities abroad.
For foreign students who would like to enrol in a university course, you need to have the CILS B2 qualification.
The A2 level of CILS allows foreign citizens who are resident in Italy to partake in the OSS exam.
The courses takes place over a period of 4 weeks, with 3 afternoon or evening lessons a week, each lasting 2 hours for a total of 24 hours.
The days and times of lessons can be organised in agreement with all students.
we recommend that students who are interested in exam preparation but who can’t attend the group course try individual lessons.
At the start of each term we organise courses for levels A2, B1, B2, C1, and C2.Students who wish to participate in these courses must have a linguistic level appropriate for the exam they intend to take.
There will be a written and oral test in order to establish the level of each student.
